About Me
I'm the candle maker and skincare enthusiast! Candle making started as a means to replace my Bath and Body Works obsession, but quickly turned into a passion. As an entrepreneur, co-owner of a lawn care company, and parent of 5 huskies, stress relief and relaxation are very important to me. There is nothing better than coming home to a clean home after a long day and lighting your favorite scented candle to help you relax.
A Better Option
Over the years, I tried many candle and fragrance brands and noticed that the quality was often inconsistent. Certain products regularly triggered migraines and sensitivities for me, which made me more curious about the ingredients I was bringing into my space. That curiosity turned into research, and I began looking more closely at the candles, skin care, and everyday products I was using. I quickly realized that many were made with low quality ingredients that were not aligned with my health, my home, or the way I wanted to live.
As I learned more about fragrance, formulation, and sourcing, it became clear that there was a gap between beautiful products and thoughtfully made ones. I wanted items that felt elevated, performed well, and were created with care and intention. That realization became the foundation for creating a better option that prioritized quality, balance, and everyday comfort.
More Natural Living
I set out on a new journey toward more natural living, beginning with making my own candles, skin care products, and even household cleaners. What started as a personal effort to create better alternatives quickly became a deeper passion for learning how products are formulated and how ingredients truly perform. I spent countless hours researching materials, testing formulas, and sourcing high quality ingredients that felt better to use and more consistent in results.
Through that process, I experienced firsthand the difference that thoughtfully chosen ingredients can make in both performance and everyday comfort. As my approach evolved, so did my vision. I wanted to create candles and skin care that felt elevated, intentional, and enjoyable to use without compromise. That journey ultimately led to the creation of Scents of Reverie, a brand rooted in quality, balance, and beautifully made essentials for everyday living.
